PROPERTY MANAGER

The Hurth and Park Senior Apartments – Portsmouth, OH

Do you enjoy making a difference in residents’ lives by providing excellent customer service? Burlington Capital Properties has a fantastic full-time property management opportunity at The Hurth and Park Senior Apartments. The Hurth and Park Senior Apartments are newly renovated historic buildings in downtown Portsmouth, Ohio.

This position requires availability Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some weekend and evening hours possible.

If you have demonstrated experience and abilities in the areas of leadership, customer service, sales, resident relations and retention, this could be the role for you!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage on-site assets by hiring and directing on-site personnel
  • Interact and communicate effectively with personnel, residents and prospective residents
  • Demonstrate strong problem resolution skills
  • Provide oversight of resident retention and leasing functions, including marketing and leasing activities, customer service strategies, workload prioritization for on-site personnel and property inspections
  • Monitor the daily operations of the property
  • Perform the financial reporting function through timely collection, deposit and record keeping, expense allocation and adherence to budget guidelines
  • Lead the team to accomplish desired results


REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Experience required with Low Income Housing Tax Credit and/or Subsidized Housing
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in property management industry preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience in a management position required
  • Minimum of three years of customer service experience required
  • Ability to follow directives, communicate effectively, and work with minimum supervision
  • Basic math / bookkeeping and computer skills required
  • Midrise building management experience preferred
