Floating Property Manager

Burlington Capital Properties is currently accepting applications for a Floating Property Manager position to support our properties in Dallas, Texas and surrounding areas. Qualified applicants must have Affordable Housing and LIHTC property management experience. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.

This full-time position will temporarily assist several properties within this area to include the Spring Oaks community in Balch Springs, TX and requires availability Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 5:30PM with some weekend and evening hours possible. This role is not eligible for remote work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage on-site assets by hiring, directing, and leading on-site personnel
• Interact and communicate effectively with personnel, residents and prospective residents
• Perform leasing functions including marketing, customer service, and resident retention
• Demonstrate strong problem resolution skills
• Monitor the daily operations of the properties
• Provide oversight of resident retention and leasing functions
• Perform the financial reporting function through timely collection, deposit and recordkeeping, expense allocation and adherence to budget guidelines
• Compliance accountability for all LIHTC rules and regulations
• Participate in meetings and annual manager conference as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Minimum of three years in property management required
• Minimum of two years of LIHTC experience required
• Senior living experience a plus
• Excellent customer service and follow-up skills a must
• Ability to interact positively with residents, employees, vendors and the general public
• Follow directions and work independently
• Basic computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office
• Must have basic understanding of the English language, and be able to communicate effectively and professionally
