Leasing Consultant (Part-Time)

Burlington Capital Properties is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Part-Time Leasing Consultant to join our team at Belmont Heights, a 176-unit conventional apartment community in Belmont, North Carolina.

Schedule

  • Part-time
  • Flexible schedule:
    • Three full days per week or
    • Approximately four hours per day, five days per week
  • Occasional weekends as business needs require.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome prospective residents and provide engaging community and apartment tours.
  • Respond to leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
  • Qualify applicants and assist with the leasing and move-in process.
  • Prepare leases and other resident documentation accurately and timely.
  • Build positive relationships with current and prospective residents.
  • Assist with lease renewals and resident retention efforts.
  • Support resident events and community marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate prospect and resident information within the property management system.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to provide an exceptional resident experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer service, sales, leasing, hospitality, or related experience preferred.
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with outstanding communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
  • Comfortable learning property management software such as Yardi, RealPage, Entrata, OneSite, or AppFolio.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage appointments, data entry, and multiple priorities.
  • Professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk apartment communities, including climbing stairs.
  • Ability to lift and carry 20–40 pounds as needed.
  • Reliable transportation required.
