Be a part of supporting our troops and their families by playing a vital role as a team member in preserving the maintenance and quality of the homes our service men and women deserve.  Burlington Capital Properties manages quality homes in Rising View, in Bellevue, Nebraska next to Offutt Air Force Base.

We are now seeking a qualified individual to help protect and improve the overall appearance and readiness of homes for new occupants in the Rising View Community, and to assist the maintenance team in performing routine home maintenance as required to meet all of the community’s needs and expectations. The qualified candidate selected for this role will be eligible for a $1,000 hiring bonus paid out as described below.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Evaluate and perform work necessary to make a home ready for move-in
  • Maintain and/or improve the condition of homes to prepare them for new residents by providing basic home maintenance in the areas of touch up painting, dry walling, plumbing, floor coverings, electrical, carpentry work, and appliance repairs
  • Perform a variety of tasks to meet service requirements
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Follow safety and liability guidelines
  • Assist with other maintenance duties as requested by management

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year multi-family housing maintenance experience preferred
  • Possess adequate skills to perform job duties
  • Knowledge and/or experience of the military culture preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record required
  • Ability to follow directives and work with minimum supervision
  • Must have basic understanding of the English language and be able to communicate with coworkers
  • Must interact positively with residents, employees, vendors and general public
  • Ability to exercise schedule flexibility to accomplish goals
  • May be required to be "on call" as directed by management

Rate of pay and benefits package will be discussed during interviews. The hiring bonus is paid in two increments: $500 after 30 days of employment and $500 after 90 days of employment.
