Schedule

Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts, with rotating on-call responsibilities for emergency maintenance after hours, weekends, and holidays.

Lofts at Savannah Park is a 138-unit apartment community located in Sanford, Florida, offering residents premium amenities including a saltwater swimming pool, fitness center, dog park, and spacious apartment homes.

Burlington Capital Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance operations at our community. We are looking for a hands-on leader who is committed to providing exceptional customer service, maintaining high-quality apartment homes, and ensuring the property remains safe, attractive, and well maintained.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead the daily maintenance operations of the community.
  • Perform apartment maintenance including painting, appliance repair, and general repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and other building systems.
  • Coordinate and oversee work performed by outside contractors and vendors.
  • Ensure completion of preventative maintenance programs.
  • Participate in the rotating on-call schedule for emergency maintenance.
  • Monitor maintenance expenses and operate within budget guidelines.
  • Maintain the property's curb appeal and common areas.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents.
  • Participate in resident events and community activities as requested.
  • Follow all company safety policies and liability guidelines.
  • Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • HVAC Certification required.
  • Demonstrated experience with plumbing repairs and maintenance.
  • Previous maintenance supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a maintenance team.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and general building maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasionally lift or move items weighing more than 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to safely perform all essential job functions, including participation in the on-call rotation.
