Leasing Consultant

Burlington Capital Properties is currently accepting applications for a full-time Leasing Consultant at UNMC Residences, a student housing community in Omaha, NE. We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced leasing environment and is passionate about providing an exceptional living experience for residents.

The Leasing Consultant plays a key role in the success of the community by supporting leasing activity, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to a positive and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–6:00 PM with weekend/Saturday availability required. Schedule details will be discussed during the interview process.

The successful Leasing Consultant will:

• Conduct property tours and assist prospective residents through the leasing process
• Respond to inquiries and qualify applicants in accordance with community guidelines
• Prepare lease documentation and support move-in/move-out processes
• Provide ongoing resident support and deliver high-quality customer service
• Assist with lease renewals, marketing efforts, and resident retention initiatives
• Maintain positive relationships with residents, staff, vendors, and the public
• Participate in team meetings and support overall property goals
• Represent the community in a professional and positive manner at all times

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Minimum of two years sales or leasing experience (or equivalent preferred)
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on follow-up and relationship building
• Ability to work independently and follow directions with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Basic computer and office equipment proficiency required
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact professionally with diverse groups
• Basic math and organizational skills required
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required
