Leasing Consultant

Spring Oaks | Balch Springs, TX

Burlington Capital Properties is seeking a full-time Leasing Consultant to join our team at Spring Oaks in Balch Springs, Texas. We pride ourselves on providing a quality living experience for our residents and are seeking an enthusiastic, high-energy individual with strong customer service and resident relations skills.

This position requires previous leasing and customer service experience. Tax Credit (LIHTC) experience is required, and OneSite experience is preferred. The successful candidate will possess a positive, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service to prospective and current residents.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, and Saturdays 10:00 AM–4:00 PM with one weekday off. Schedule may vary based on business needs.

The successful Leasing Consultant will:

• Greet prospective residents and conduct apartment tours.
• Qualify prospective residents and assist with the leasing process.
• Prepare and process LIHTC documentation in accordance with program requirements.
• Complete move-in, renewal, and resident file documentation.
• Maintain positive relationships with current residents by providing outstanding customer service.
• Respond to resident questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Accurately enter and maintain resident information within the property management system.
• Assist with resident events, marketing initiatives, and occupancy goals.
• Represent Burlington Capital Properties in a professional and positive manner.
• Work collaboratively with the property management team to achieve community goals.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Previous leasing and customer service experience required.
• Tax Credit (LIHTC) experience required.
• OneSite experience preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with residents, vendors, coworkers, and the public.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs throughout the workday.
• Ability to walk the property and show apartment homes to prospective residents.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
